The United States is set to muster international support with the United Nations to raise funds for Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Pakistan's North Waziristan region and arrange an investor conference regarding the Diamer Basha Dam.
According to reports, the United States would host an international investment conference at meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund regarding the North Waziristan issue.
Principal Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Elizabeth Jones, said that US would help extend Europe's interest in energy sector.
The US ambassador was earlier informed on the status of IDPs in Pakistan and the aid provided by the government so far.
The federal government has reportedly provided rupees eight billion till now and efforts are being made for rehabilitation later.
