Battling the chilly winds and dropping temperature, a number of Uttarakhand residents participated in the 'Marathon 2016' organised by the state police over the weekend.

The aim of the marathon was to spread awareness against the drugs menace and corruption in society.

The race was held at the Police Lines area.

"This is a community participation of Dehradun, organized against the corruption, drugs and truancy," said Chief Minister Harish Rawat.
