Dutchman Luis van Gaal, who coached the Netherlands' squad, is reportedly hoping to instill the same team spirit in the Manchester United team that helped his national side to the third place in the World Cup after he takes over the Premier League side on Wednesday.
Van Gaal has insisted that he does not need a holiday first with the World Cup having just ended.
Van Gaal would have just two days off before he flies to United on Wednesday to launch his three-year contract with the Club and then go off with his new squad on Friday for the club's preseason tour in the USA, The Daily Express reported.
Van Gaal said that it is no problem for him, as he does not need a holiday, adding that it is great to have such an exciting challenge and working daily with young footballers is something that he does not need time off to rest for.
The Dutchman said that he is looking forward to his role at United, adding that he has only met two people from the daily management at the club, the chief scout and the chief Executive Officer and he has also met two of the owners of the club.
Van Gaal said that he hopes that the group in United becomes the one like Netherlands, adding that they have to sing for the same hymn-sheet, the report added.
