There is good news for the fans of Vanessa Hudgens, who is set to star in an NBC sitcom set in a world full of superheroes after 'High School Musical' and 'Spring Breakers'.
This musically inclined actress is set to start in 'Powerless', a new comedy pilot about a normal person living in a city populated by DC Comics superheroes, reports E! Online.
The 27-year-old actress will play Emily Locke, an insurance claims adjuster who is not pleased with the disruptive antics of the superheroes living in her city and the destruction they leave in their wake.
The workplace comedy is definitely something new for the musical star-and something new for the DC Comics world, which is all over TV in one-hour drama form.
'Powerless' will follow the normal, powerless working people living in a world of superheroes and villains, like Emily, who just likes to fly under the radar and get her job done.
