Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan has said that the mind games Australia plays before the Ashes shows that they have a bit of inner doubt and are trying to prove that they are confident.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Vaughan pointed out that his advice to them would be that the best way to do that is to concentrate on performances on the pitch and leave the talking to one side.

The great Australian sides of the past never really bothered with such tactics, Vaughan said.

England have won the last three Ashes campaigns by saying very little, and concentrating on the cricket and Australia should take note, Vaughan added.
