Putting all rumours to rest, Bollywood filmmaker Vipul Shah has recently refuted reports that suggested a rift between Akshay Kumar and him.
Rumours were doing the rounds that an upcoming film, 'Namastey England', has been a point of disagreement for the actor-filmmaker duo.
The filmmaker also denied the speculation that 'Namastey England' is the sequel of his previous film 'Namastey London' and said, "It's a totally fresh script and a new story. There's a possibility of the title working out really well, but it's not a sequel."
Further, speaking about the long standing relationship with Akshay, he stated, "It's a preposterous idea to suggest that I'd replace Akshay in my film. People need to know that we've been together for the past 16 years. We've gone through so many ups and downs, but our relationship has been absolutely rock steady."
"Our kids are friends with each other; my wife and Tina are friends, too. So, people should not think that one film can cause any problem in us. Our relationship goes way beyond doing one film," he added.
On work forward with the 'Rustom' star, Vipul revealed, "I can tell you this with complete authority that I'll be doing a film with Akki very soon. I don't know which film it would be, but we would be working on one very soon."
Shah and Akshay have together worked in films like 'Action Replayy', 'Namastey London', 'Aankhen', 'Waqt' and 'Singh is Kinng'.
