Congress party workers on Tuesday staged a protest over the Vyapam Scam outside the official residence of Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, calling for state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's resignation.
"We aim for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's resignation. We will cooperate with the police and we will do as they order. We protestors want to request that he should immediately resign from the post as he is not capable being there," said a protestor, K K Mishra.
Chouhan had earlier said that the allegations levelled by against him and his family members in connection with the scam were 'baseless' and 'made out of frustration'.
