Wasim Akram narrowly survives gun attack on his car in Karachi

Former Pakistani cricket captain Wasim Akram narrowly escaped with his life on Wednesday after his car was attacked by unidentified gunmen near the National Stadium in Karachi.

According to the Express Tribune, his car was attacked on Karsaz Road near the National Stadium.

Akram, who remained unhurt after the incident, said that he immediately called for help on the police helpline.

Police are conducting an investigation. Further details are awaited.
