Former Test batsman Mark Waugh has said David Warner should develop a thicker skin, as he is facing Cricket Australia hearing over last weekends' Twitter rant.
Waugh said Warner should not be getting involved in Twitter stoushes and must learn from his rant.
According to news.com.au, Warner is facing a disciplinary hearing for his social media outburst at News Limited sportswriters Robert Craddock and Malcolm Conn.
Speaking on SEN radio, Waugh said that although Warner's public display of anger was no big deal, the incident was not a good look for Australia's fiery opening batsman.
He said Warner has for the second or third time tweeted some words which have not been that smart.
He added that Warner should learn from this. It's not the ideal situation you want to see from supposedly one of your senior players or one of the most important players in your squad.
Waugh said that Warner probably got to get a thicker skin.
Warner, whose captaincy aspirations have taken a hit as a result of the incident, has been reported for breaching Cricket Australia's code of behaviour.
The governing body will decide a date for the hearing ahead of this week's departure of the Ashes squad, the report added.
