Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that midfielder Mesut Ozil has grown tremendously to lead his side to this season's Premier League victory.
Describing the 27-year-old player as a 'complete athlete', Wenger said that the German had grown in stature and was ready to take responsibility for the team, Sport24 reported.
Wenger insisted that Ozil plays in a position that completely suits him, adding that his current form makes him difficult to stop this season.
Earlier, Ozil had turned out to be the key performer for his side as Arsenal secured a 2-0 win over Bournemouth to go one point clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal will begin 2016 as the league leaders and will play their next match against Newcastle on Saturday.
