West Indies beat India by one wicket in Tri-Series thriller

West Indies bowlers Kemar Roach and Tino Best starred with both bat and ball as the nation came out on top with a thrilling one-wicket victory over India in their Celkon Mobile Cup match at Sabina Park.

India were restricted to 229-7 in their allotted overs before West Indian opener Johnson Charles hung in with a vital contribution of 97, with birthday boy Kemar Roach taking the wicket of Champions trophy star Shikhar Dhawan and also hitting the winning runs, Sky Sports reports.

The hosts were struggling at 26-3 but recovered to get past the line with 14 balls to spare, with ten runs being needed to score from the last partnership.

Opener Rohit Sharma stuck to the crease for India, making 60 runs off 89 balls, with Suresh Raina (44), MS Dhoni (27), Dinesh Karthik (23) also chipping in.
