Many hairdressers would agree that fine hair is the best hair to have owing to its manageability and malleability.
Celeb hairstylist and owner of b:Blunt, Adhuna Bhabani Akhtar, said that she would hate her fine hair as a teenager until she went abroad to train where fine hair was considered the ideal hair texture.
Akhtar said that she has been experimenting with edgy looks on herself that clients have wanted to emulate too.
Longer in front and shorter in the back, this style frames the face and creates fullness at the back of the head.
Rod Anker, Creative Director of Monsoon Salon and Spa, said that short is best for women with limp or fine hair, as length will weigh it down, obviously the face shape etc has to be a part of the overall decision.
However, if fine-haired women are hoping to have fuller looking hair than use a volumizing shampoo, conditioner, and styling products before blow-drying hair upside down can add serious volume to even the thinnest hair.
Also hair worn forward and to the side over your forehead can cover up thinning or receding hairlines and make it look fuller.
