Why we never ask men 'are you a virgin? asks Big B

While carrying on a promotion press conference for his court room drama 'PINK', Shoojit Sircar pointed out that why do we as a society only questions about women's virginity.

"Asking women 'are you a virgin?' is a strong statement, but we never ask the men about the same," said Sircar.

During the conversation, megastar Amitabh Bachchan too asserted, "If you are asking a woman, 'are you a virgin?' then you should ask the same to men."

When pointed that the movie seems to be targeting the urban society, the director-cum producer said, "I have a language which I use in my filmmaking. I am born and brought up in urban areas- may that be Delhi or Mumbai. So, I understand the urban language. But I will try to take this movie to towns and villages. But this movie has its own language."

Besides Big B, the movie also features Tapsee Paanu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi and Andrea Tarian.

Directed by national award winning filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, 'PINK' speaks about women empowerment.
