Actor Willem Dafoe has signed on to share screen space with actress Anne Hathaway in Netflix's upcoming film 'The Last Thing He Wanted'.
Dafoe will play Hathaway's father in the film, which will be written and directed by Dee Rees, reported Variety.
'The Last Thing He Wanted' is based on the 1996 novel of the same name by Joan Didion.
It centers on hardscrabble journalist Elena McMahon, who finds herself on dangerous ground as the Iran Contra Affair's arms for drugs plot reaches its tipping point.
Dafoe will play Hathaway's father in the film.
Last month, Dafoe along with actress Kate Winslet was roped in as the lead voice cast of upcoming animated movie 'Manou the Swift'.
