Wimbledon 2014: Somdev crashes out after losing to Poland's Jerzy Janowicz

India's Somdev Devvarman on Tuesday crashed out of the Wimbledon after losing to 15th seeded Jerzy Janowicz 6-4 3-6 3-6 6-3 3-6.

This is the third time this year when Somdev crashed out of a major tournament in the first round. However, he gave a tough fight to Janowicz by taking the match to the fifth set.

Somdev served 14 aces as against Janowicz's eight. However, he committed a staggering 19 double faults throughout the match.

Janowicz will now face Australia's Lleyton Hewitt, who defeated Poland's Michal Przysiezny 6-2, 6-7 (14-16), 6-1, 6-4 to enter the second round.
