IT major Wipro in its BSE filing announced the appointment of Gilles Grange as its regional head for operations in France.
In the new role, Gilles will be responsible for strengthening Wipro's presence in France by pursuing new business opportunities and growing its visibility in the region.
He will be based in Paris and report to Christophe Martinoli, Vice President and Head of Continental Europe.
"France is a key focus area for Wipro and we expect to significantly expand our market share in the region," said Martinoli in the BSE statement.
Gilles, who joined Wipro in 2009, has over 20 years of professional IT experience. In the past seven years, he has assumed various roles including head of infrastructure management, global client partner and head of financial services and insurance business for Wipro in Continental Europe.
Prior to Wipro, he was associated with Logica/CGI as Deputy Head of Infrastructure Division.
