World knows Pak exporting terrorism from its soil, says Jitendra Singh

Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, Jitendra Singh, on Wednesday said the whole world knows that Pakistan is exporting terrorists to India and added that the government in Islamabad cannot get away by calling them non-state actors.

"The whole world knows that terrorists are infiltrating from Pakistani soil. There is more than sufficient evidence to show that Pakistan is promoting, supporting and exporting terrorism into India. The government in Islamabad cannot get away by saying that these terrorists which infiltrate India have been non-state actors. Therefore, they are not responsible for it," Singh told ANI here.

Former President Pervez Musharraf had earlier admitted that Pakistan nurtured militancy and supported extremist groups, including the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the 1990s to carry out terrorist activities in Kashmir.

He also said that Lashkar leaders like Hafiz Saeed and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi enjoyed the status of heroes at that time.

He told Dunya News on Sunday, "In the 1990s, the freedom struggle began in Kashmir. At that time, Lashkar-e- Taiba and 11 or 12 other organisations were formed. We supported them and trained them as they were fighting in Kashmir at the cost of their lives.
