'The Twilight Saga' star Xavier Samuel is set to play role of Mary Shelley's iconic horror character Frankenstein.
The Bad Badger project, which would be produced by Eclectic Pictures and helmed by Bernard Rose, would have a modern day approach and would be set in present-day Los Angeles, Deadline.com reported.
The story would be told from the perspective of Adam/The Monster, who was created by a scientist husband-and-wife, Victor and Elizabeth Frankenstein, and receives nothing but aggression and violence from the world around him.
While Danny Huston and Carrie-Anne Moss would play the scientist couple, Tony Todd would also star in the film, the script for which was adapted by Rose himself.
