Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions is all set to reboot 1985 movie 'Real Genius' into a TV sitcom along with NBC, it has been reported.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the hit 1985 film, starring Val Kilmer, depicted the story of an eccentric genius mentoring a brilliant young student in the ways of having fun but it would now be turned into a modern-day workplace comedy focusing on the relationship of two incompatible co-workers, CNet reported.
The sitcom would be penned by David King and Craig DiGregorio. 3 Arts Entertainment and Sony TV are also onboard to give 'Real Genius' a TV makeover.
