Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath said that in Uttar Pradesh (UP) the law and order situation is very weak, adding that there was a complete "Jungle Raj" in state.
He said that the lawlessness has resulted due to the collapse of the police system.
Adityanath said that one reason behind this is that police officials are working for Samajwadi Party (SP) rather than working for their police systems.
He alleged that the police stations appointments are being made by District Magistrate appointed by SP.
Adityanath said that police stations don't provide security to people but have instead become places for collecting money for SP.
Commenting on the frequent power cuts, Adityanath said, "There is no power crisis as such in the state, but the electricity was being cut due to the feeling of revenge.
