Pakistan put up a massive total of 570-6 declared on day two of the second Test against Australia in Abu Dhabi, thanks to a double ton from veteran batsman Younis Khan and a ton each from skipper Misbah-ul Haq and batsman Azhar Ali.
Pakistan declared the first innings after putting up 570 runs for the loss of six wickets in 164 overs on day two.
Ali played a massive innings to put up 109 runs off 250 deliveries before he was caught by David Warner of paceman Mitchell Starc's delivery.
Misbah joined Younis on the pitch after Ali's departure and he knocked a 101 on 168 deliveries before he was bowled and caught by spinner Steven Smith.
Younis, meanwhile, played a big innings and fired away 213 runs in the 349 deliveries he faced. He scored 15 fours and two sixes on the way to his double ton, before being bowled out by right-arm fast-medium bowler Peter Siddle.
Middle-order batsman Asad Shafiq was bowled out for his individual score of 21of Starc's delivery.
Earlier on day one, Pakistan lost both openers Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez for their individual scores of 35 and 45 respectively. Shehzad was trapped lbw by Nathan Lyon, while Hafeez was caught behind the wicket by Brad Haddin off Mitchell Johnson's delivery.
Pakistan had ended the day one with 304 runs for the loss of two wickets.
Now, Australian openers David Warner and Chris Rogers will take to the crease to start the massive run chase in the first innings.
