Kathmandu [Nepal], April 11 (ANI): A 37-member youth delegation from India which toured various places in Nepal from April 4 to April 11, got a chance to interact and observe the cultural and emotional aspects of India and Nepal.
Gaurav Aviskar, Member of the youth exchange program, told ANI, "This is youth exchange program is an exchange program of culture, heritage, ideas and people-to-people contact."
The Indian delegation is in Nepal on the invitation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Nepal.
Participants claimed to have built a feeling of responsibility.
Aviskar said, "Now, we feel like we have become more responsible persons because of all the things we have learnt here. We will try to implement it at our level in India and try to create a positive atmosphere towards Nepal. We will also try to promote Nepal tourism in India."
The youth exchange program was held as per an MoU signed between the Ministries of Youth Affairs and Sports of both nations. The delegation included students from leading educational institutes of India, including IITs, AIIMS, NIT, National Law School of India University and the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development.
Gopal Bujer, another member of the youth exchange program, told ANI, "The culture and the people of Nepal are very tolerant which I have come to know of after coming to Nepal. I also found that there are no differences between India and Nepal. It is the same land of gods and goddesses as is India."
They were interacting with media at the residence of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Charge d' Affaires at the Indian Embassy in Nepal.
