Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently spent a good one hour answering curious questions from users of his social network.
Speaking about the "The Social Network," the Oscar-winning movie about Facebook, Zuckerberg said during an hour-long question-and-answer session Thursday at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif. that most of it was fiction.
He said that a lot of stuff was made up, which was kind of hurtful.
According to CNET, Zuckerberg held the session because he wanted feedback from Facebook users, and modeled the meeting after the weekly town-hall sessions the company holds internally.
Answering a user's question about why Facebook recently began requiring mobile users to download a separate app called Messenger to send private messages, Zuckerberg said that the move was driven by the popularity of apps created for specific purposes.
He also spoke about why he was often seen in his trademark gray T-shirt and jeans, saying he wanted to make sure his entire energy went into serving this community, the report said.
