Hyundai Motors is high on gaining a strong hold of the market, and is all-set to unveil the second generation model of its most sorted hatch i20 at Paris Motor Show'14. The same model has been spotted number of times, and the spied images of it reveals quite a lot changes have happened to the car. It is a complete new car in a way, with exteriors to interiors, there's a lot new modifications have been added to the car. This is certainly moving forward with the legacy of Hyundai's very popular design philosophy, fluidic design, thus going to showcase a very sporty and attractive appeal to it.
In terms of styling, the hatch will probably seem to be a strectched out version of Grand i10. When it comes to the features, the current i20 is considerably one of the feature loaded car, and the same is expected with the 2015 model of the same. Another revealed fact out of the leaked images is the presence of black and blue two-tone interiors.
In perspective to the Indian market, the new i20 will lock horns with rivals like VW Polo, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Honda Brio and Nissan Micra. While, the engine specs are concerned, the car is anticipated to come with the same power trains- 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines. The petrol mill would come clubbed with a five-speed manual or four- speed automatic gear transmission. While the diesel may show up with 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual gear transmission.
