Maruti Suzuki has introduced the anticipated top-end Z+ trims of the Ciaz, the ZXI+ (Petrol) costs Rs. 9.81 Lac while the ZDI+ (Diesel) costs Rs. 10.37 Lac (All Ex-Showroom Prices New Delhi). The Z+ trims carries forward the goodies from the Z trims and adds a large touch screen SmartPlay infotainment system with voice commands and navigation along with leather upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel and 16-inch alloy wheels.
SmartPlay Infotainment System
- The Smart play infotainment system features a 7-inch touch screen
- The system offers host of connectivity options - USB, Aux-in, CD and Bluetooth phone integration with Bluetooth audio streaming.
- The system offers built-in navigation supporting voice command functionality
- It also doubles up the screen for the reverse parking camera.
- The system can also link few apps from the smart phones.
Mechanically, Ciaz remained unaltered and is powered by the same K14B petrol and DDiS200 turbo diesel. The 1373 cc K-Series petrol chucks out 91.2 bhp @ 6000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The 1248 cc turbo diesel musters 88.5 bhp @ 4000 rpm and 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission while petrol is also offered with a 4-speed automatic. The petrol run Ciaz with manual transmission claims 20.73 kmpl, with automatic transmission it can deliver 19.12 kmpl, while the diesel Ciaz gets 26.21 kmpl certified fuel efficiency. Both petrol/diesel variants of Ciaz returns the best mileage in D-segment.
