The Indian market is growing through a slowdown, and to overcome this crisis, the carmakers are coming up with hefty discounts and special offerings to improve its sales number. If you are looking to buy a new car, this is probably the best time for you. Almost all the car makers are giving heavy discounts on their cars to improve sales volume, but it is quite difficult to believe that even the country's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India is ready to sell its diesel cars at a discount.
The slowdown in the auto market has created some tension to even the largest car maker in India, which is now offering a big discount on its popular diesel vehicles. Cars like Ritz, Swift Dzire, Swift and Ertiga comes under the offerings. Maruti is now offering 100 litres of fuel with every booking, and an extra benefit of Rs. 20,000 on exchange, making a total discount of Rs, 25,000. However, it is still under covers whether the offerings are coming directly from Maruti' stable or it is a dealer level offer. The offers are valid only till May 24th.
Not just India, the export markets are also witnessing slowdown. As Suzuki giving hefty discounts on three of its Made in India vehicles in Algerian market. Maruti Alto 800 is available at a discount of 31,000 ALgerian dinar (approx. Rs. 21,000), A-Star named as Celerio in Algeria and Swift Dzire are also available with a huge discount of 90,000 Algerian dinars, which is around Rs. 62,000 in India.
