Both vehicles will be sold through the NEXA dealerships, so by Jan 2016 Maruti will have 2 new products in the NEXA outlets

We have come to know through our sources that Maruti Suzuki will launch the YRA hatchback in October and the YBA compact SUV by January 2016. Yesterday, the Japanese automaker has revealed the name of the YRA hatchback, it will be christened as the Baleno in the global market. However, Maruti won't stick to the Baleno name in the country considering they removed the SX4 from the S-Cross, maybe they just don’t want to continue with the name of the failed products. And regarding the YBA compact SUV, reportedly, Maruti would go with the name Vitara Brezza. Both will be retailed from the NEXA dealerships.

Mechanically, both the vehicles are expected to be powered by the existing K-series and MultiJet/DDiS diesel engines. Although, in the international market, YRA aka Baleno will also feature the company’s new 1.0-liter turbocharged ‘BoosterJet’ petrol engines. The company might not offer this engine in India at the time of launch in both the vehicles. In terms of features, both the vehicles are expected to borrow features from the recently launched S-Cross. Things like the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, etc.
