Alembic Pharmaceuticals consolidated net profit rises 29.65% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 24.65% to Rs 625.55 crore

Net profit of Alembic Pharmaceuticals rose 29.65% to Rs 91.18 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 70.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 24.65% to Rs 625.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 501.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 154.28% to Rs 719.44 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 282.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 53.22% to Rs 3145.12 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2052.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
