Aurobindo Pharma standalone net profit rises 10.19% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 0.61% to Rs 2361.39 crore

Net profit of Aurobindo Pharma rose 10.19% to Rs 455.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 413.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 0.61% to Rs 2361.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2375.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 4.92% to Rs 1706.76 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1626.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.07% to Rs 9539.36 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 9078.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
