Bajaj Auto standalone net profit rises 29.19% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 14.71% to Rs 5303.89 crore

Net profit of Bajaj Auto rose 29.19% to Rs 803.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 621.62 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 14.71% to Rs 5303.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 4623.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 29.81% to Rs 3652.41 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2813.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.44% to Rs 22252.78 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 21103.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
