Chase Bright Steel net profit rises 57.14% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 14.52% to Rs 8.24 crore

Net profit of Chase Bright Steel rose 57.14% to Rs 0.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 14.52% to Rs 8.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 9.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 0.43 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 0.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 30.46% to Rs 28.31 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 40.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
