Mainland China stock market finished marginally higher in lighter volume on Monday, 30 May 2016, amid uncertainty over the monetary policy outlook as the economy fails to show signs of a sustained recovery. Growing uncertainty over China's monetary policy and economic health is keeping investors from making bets in the country's stock and money markets. The CSI300 index of the largest listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen rose 0.14%, to 3,066.71, while the Shanghai Composite Index added 0.05%, to 2,822.45 points.
