Concor leads gainers in 'A' group

Container Corporation of India (Concor) gained 2.86% to Rs 936.60. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals rose 2.46% to Rs 499.20. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 504.60 in intraday today, 21 December 2012.The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

National Aluminium Company advanced 2.16% to Rs 49.70. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. Reports this week indicated that National Aluminium Company has raised aluminium prices by Rs 2000 per tonne for all products in the domestic market effective 14 December 2012. The company revises product prices at regular intervals to reflect prices in the global commodity market.

Pantaloon Retail (India) rose 1.92% to Rs 238.35. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Havells India rose 1.62% to Rs 634.60. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
