DLF, Sasken Communication Technologies drop ex-dividend

DLF and Sasken Communication Technologies shed 4.16% and 9.64% respectively at 12:10 IST on BSE after these stocks turned ex-dividend today, 28 March 2016.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 147.26 points or 0.56% at 25,194.85.

Shares of realty major, DLF dropped 4.16% to Rs 110.50 after the stock turned ex-dividend today, 28 March 2016 for interim dividend of Rs 2 per share for the year ending 31 March 2016 (FY 2016). Before turning ex-dividend, the stock offered a dividend yield of 1.73% based on the closing price of Rs 115.30 on Wednesday, 23 March 2016. The stock market remained closed on Thursday, 24 March 2016 and Friday, 25 March 2016 due to holidays.

Shares of IT services provider, Sasken Communication Technologies declined 9.64% to Rs 364.50 after the stock turned ex-dividend today, 28 March 2016 for interim dividend and special dividend totalling Rs 29 per share for the year ending 31 March 2016 (FY 2016). Before turning ex-dividend, the stock offered a dividend yield of 7.18% based on the closing price of Rs 403.40 on Wednesday, 23 March 2016.

On consolidated basis, DLF's net profit rose 24.4% to Rs 163.95 crore on 44.5% rise in net sales to Rs 2827.66 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q3 December 2014.

On consolidated basis, Sasken Communication Technologies' net profit rose 6.63% to Rs 11.25 crore on 1.22% decline in net sales to Rs 126.25 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q2 September 2015.
