Net inflow of Rs 1046.75 crore on 1 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 1046.75 crore from the secondary equity markets on 1 November 2017, compared with net outflow of Rs 379.11 crore on 31 October 2017. On 1 November 2017, the Sensex jumped 387.14 points or 1.17% to settle at 33,600.27, its record closing high.
The net inflow of Rs 1046.75 crore on 1 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6128.05 crore and gross sales of Rs 5081.30 crore.
There was a net outflow of Rs 4.22 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 1 November 2017.
