Hindustan Unilever standalone net profit rises 6.19% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 6.79% to Rs 8100.00 crore

Net profit of Hindustan Unilever rose 6.19% to Rs 1183.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1114.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 6.79% to Rs 8100.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 7585.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 8.53% to Rs 4490.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4137.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 2.62% to Rs 31298.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 30499.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
