IL&FS Engineering & Construction Co standalone net profit rises 3767.06% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 1.96% to Rs 589.08 crore

Net profit of IL&FS Engineering & Construction Co rose 3767.06% to Rs 32.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 0.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 1.96% to Rs 589.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 577.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 188.52 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 2.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 21.43% to Rs 1844.87 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2348.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
