Forex reserves increases to US$ 429.9 billion as on 05 July 2019

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 2.23 billion to US$ 429.91 billion in the week ended 05 July 2019. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 427.68 a week ago.

Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets moved up to US$ 400.81 billion in the week ended 05 July 2019 from US$ 399.90 billion a week ago. The gold assets also increased to US$ 24.30 billion from US$ 22.96 billion a week ago. SDRs were flat at US$ 1.45 billion in the week ended 05 July 2019.

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 17.04 billion over March 2019, while jumped US$ 24.10 billion over a year ago level, mainly driven by the increase in foreign currency assets.
