Not eligible for to claim RECs for its captive power generation

Indsil Hydro Power & Manganese announced that Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), New Delhi has announced an amendment to existing REC Regulations with immediate effect.

According to the new regulation, all Captive Power Plants commissioned before 29 September 2010 are no longer eligible to claim RECs for their captive power generation. Hence, the Company will no longer be eligible to claim RECs for its captive power generation at Kuthungal Hydroelectric Works, Rajakkad, Idukki District, Kerala.
