ITC standalone net profit rises 5.68% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 9.51% to Rs 10062.38 crore

Net profit of ITC rose 5.68% to Rs 2495.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2361.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.51% to Rs 10062.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 9188.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 2.47% to Rs 9844.71 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 9607.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 1.09% to Rs 36475.27 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 36083.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
