Jagran Prakashan consolidated net profit declines 22.62% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 2.49% to Rs 548.03 crore

Net profit of Jagran Prakashan declined 22.62% to Rs 62.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 81.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 2.49% to Rs 548.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 562.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 10.98% to Rs 310.98 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 349.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 0.92% to Rs 2303.98 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2282.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
