Jindal Steel & Power reports standalone net profit of Rs 145.08 crore in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 44.47% to Rs 5702.39 crore

Net profit of Jindal Steel & Power reported to Rs 145.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against net loss of Rs 116.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 44.47% to Rs 5702.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 3947.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 361.61 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against net loss of Rs 986.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 25.65% to Rs 16861.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 13418.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
