JSW Energy reports consolidated net loss of Rs 480.05 crore in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 4.67% to Rs 1775.08 crore

Net loss of JSW Energy reported to Rs 480.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against net profit of Rs 24.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 4.67% to Rs 1775.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1862.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 86.36% to Rs 84.91 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 622.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 2.60% to Rs 8048.96 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 8263.43 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
