Records decline of 3% in crude steel production in Q4
JSW Steel has reported crude steel production for the FY 2014-15 at 12.63 million tonnes compared to 12.17 million tonnes in FY 2013-14, registering a growth of 4%.The production for flat rolled products stood at 10.07 million tonnes in FY 2014-15 compared to 9.74 million tonnes in FY 2013-14, registering a growth of 3%.
The production of long rolled products increased by 12% to 2.06 million tonnes in FY 2014-15 compared to 1.84 million tonnes in FY 2013-14.
The Company reported crude steel production of 3.06 million tonnes in Q4 FY 2014-15, a decline of 3% over 3.15 million tonnes in Q4 FY 2013-14.
In Q4 FY 2014-15, production of flat rolled products decreased 1% to 2.47 million tonnes, while production of long rolled products was the same at 0.48 million tonnes as compared to Q4 FY 2013-14.
