Mobile Number Portability (MNP) Requests further increase and approach the 107 Million Mark

As per the data reported by the telecom service providers, by the end of November 2013 about 106.87 million subscribers have submitted their requests to different service providers for porting their mobile number. In MNP Zone-I (Northern & Western India) maximum number of requests have been received in Rajasthan (about 10.67 million) followed by Gujarat(about 9.24 million) whereas in MNP Zone-II (Southern & Eastern) maximum number of requests have been received in Karnataka (about 12.29 million) followed by Andhra Pradesh Service area (about 9.77 million). In the month of November 2013 alone, total number of subscribers who submitted their request for MNP is 2.09 million.
