Neuland Laboratories has been granted approval for extension of time for holding its Annual General Meeting for the financial year 2016-17, till 31 December 2017, by the Registrar of Companies, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.The extension has been sought by the Company as it is in the process of the obtaining requisite approvals for the Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement between Neuland Laboratories (Transferee Company) and Neuland Health Sciences(First Transferor Company) and Neuland Pharma Research (Second Transferor Company) and their respective Shareholders and Creditors ('Scheme'), filed with the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal and the timelines involved for the proposed merger.
