New India Assurance Company Ltd Surges 12.32%, S&P BSE PSU index Gains 1.09%

New India Assurance Company Ltd has added 15.61% over last one month compared to 5.14% gain in S&P BSE PSU index and 0.06% drop in the SENSEX

New India Assurance Company Ltd gained 12.32% today to trade at Rs 207. The S&P BSE PSU index is up 1.09% to quote at 7136.41. The index is up 5.14 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd increased 6.91% and MOIL Ltd added 6.74% on the day. The S&P BSE PSU index went down 12.13 % over last one year compared to the 9.74% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

New India Assurance Company Ltd has added 15.61% over last one month compared to 5.14% gain in S&P BSE PSU index and 0.06% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 11388 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2982 shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 382.13 on 30 May 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 165 on 14 Feb 2019.
