Nifty January 2015 futures at a premium

Turnover declines

Nifty January 2015 futures were at 8536, a premium of 22.20 points over spot closing of 8513.80. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment fell to Rs 206268.23 crore from Rs 372000.02 crore on Thursday, 15 January 2015.

LIC Housing Finance January 2015 futures were at 488.65, near spot closing of 488.

Axis Bank January 2015 futures were at 516.15, at a premium over spot closing of 514.30.

State Bank of India January 2015 futures were at 316.80, near spot closing of 315.25.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 19.65 points or 0.23% to settle at 8,513.80, its highest closing level since 5 December 2014.

The January 2015 derivatives contract expire on 29 January 2015.
