Turnover declines
Nifty January 2015 futures were at 8578.55, a premium of 27.85 points over spot closing of 8550.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment fell to Rs 191945.87 crore from Rs 206268.23 crore on Friday, 16 January 2015.
Hindustan Unilever January 2015 futures were at 897.85, at a premium over spot closing of 893.70
Axis Bank January 2015 futures were at 530.30, near spot closing of 529.70.
ICICI Bank January 2015 futures were at 360.40, near spot closing of 360.05.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 36.90 points or 0.43% to settle at 8,550.70, its highest closing level since 4 December 2014.
The January 2015 derivatives contract expire on 29 January 2015.
