Nifty March futures trade at premium
NSE VIX fell 3.83% to 24.58.
The Nifty March 2021 futures were at 14,977.45, a premium of 15.25 points compared with Nifty's spot closing of 14,962.20.In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 24.1 or 0.16% to 14,962.20.
The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 3.83% to 24.58.
RIL, SBI and ICICI Bank were the top traded stock futures contracts in F&O segment for March expiry.
The March F&O contracts will expire on 25 March 2021.
